The Great Deception and the Big Lie.
Life in this secular society, in this Kali Yuga, is based on what I would call the Big Lie, or the Great Deception, which everyone believes and follows; some psychologists like Erich Fromm and others have even already seen the sense. It is called the Long Road of Life. Your base desires are to blame: for a woman, for money, for offspring, for material possessions, etc., which this Kali Yuga world can satisfy well, but at the cost of attachment to it and at the cost of loss of inner freedom. Only where there is Knowledge can there be harmony in marriage. Most men and women, however, are moving in this direction only in pursuit of the mirage of their fantasies. I believe that God, who has sent us to this world for a certain Purpose, has at the same time given us all the material means necessary for life so that we do not suffer. We have no need to want or demand anything from the world and we will still receive what God actually intended. That is why some monks live only on alms, having nothing and expecting nothing. Only saints know and show this Short Path to freedom, happiness, harmony and holiness. So I recommend to follow only the words of the saints in all things in this world. All the others are subconsciously and subliminally – but in good faith – lying to you. So do not let them fool you.
