Tratak. The secret of the silent Masters.
Tratak involves observing the flame of a candle. At first, seemingly nothing will happen. But later on, your consciousness may be visited by “demons”, which are your own negative thoughts that you must fully understand, remove and disobey. Then “angels” – devas – will begin to visit you, bringing you very wise and inspiring spiritual thoughts. Eventually, the Universal Principle of the Inner Master will be presented to you through nirguna, in unmanifest form. You will find various inner reassurances and proofs of the correctness of your Spiritual Journey; these are very positive and wise thoughts and Divine inspiration. You will write, for example, spiritual poetry, or compose professional and spiritual literature. There is no need at all to fear the lower forces sleeping somewhere in your sub-conscience that you really need to clear. This is what a mantra is for. I repeat: do not be afraid of this natural process at all; unfortunately, everyone has to go through something in order to become internally wise. By the Grace of your Universal Friend and Master who knows literally everything about you and yet forgives you immediately and in a really wise and humorous way. There is no point at all in hiding or concealing anything from Him. Your whole life is astrally recorded as a book somewhere. You will always be very satisfied, happy and blissful inside. Keep a spiritual diary and try to write down your new knowledge. Maybe someday someone will be interested, or maybe you will even write a book about your experience. Extraordinary inner visions and thoughts from Someone from the Universe will come to you. You will draw inwardly from the Divine source of your Overself, or superconsciousness. You will overcome all trials victoriously, and throughout all experiences you will have God’s guidance and God’s protection.
