Maheshwarananda’s sacred linden tree in the Czech Republic.
I have planted hundreds of trees in my life as a forestry worker, but one is particularly sacred. It is a linden tree which I named after my spiritual master, His Holiness Vishvaguru Paramhas Swami Maheshwarananda – “Maheshwarananda’s sacred linden tree”. I planted this tree in 2007 at the cave Děravka on the Habrůvka plateau in the central part of the Moravian Karst. Originally, however, the linden tree grew as a small shoot near the castle wall in the Mahaprabhudip Ashram in Střílky. I am very happy that I obeyed a higher inner instruction and carefully moved the tree symbolically from Střílky in South Moravia to Děravka. Now it is a lush, almost twenty years old tree. However, the linden tree did not have it easy in the past. An unknown Satanist from the Bull Rock, who disagreed with my hermitage at Děravka, poured something acid-based on the linden tree and it almost withered. After this attack, all the leaves, which had been full of energy and strength until then, suddenly withered and fell off. However, it recovered from this bane within a year and has turned green again and continues to grow. Even such people live in the Moravian Karst and there are many of them! Later, I fixed a granite memorial with concrete at the linden tree proclaiming that the tree is dedicated to Maheshwarananda and was planted by the hermit Gyaneshwarpuri. But even this memorial became the target of an attack by probably the same Satanist, even though it was duly discussed and approved by both the Administration of the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area and the Křtiny Forest School. The unknown vandal broke the memorial and threw it into the mouth of the chasm at Děravka, where I later discovered it and brought it back to the light of God. Symbolically, I leaned it against the linden tree in a circle of loose stones, which are supposed to protect the linden tree from woodcutters. That Evil-oriented fanatic was also harming my God’s work at Děravka in other ways. The holy pictures that I regularly left at the linden tree always disappeared. Fortunately, the linden was not harmed anymore. I now occasionally come to these places to perform my spiritual rites, meditate, repeat the mantra, and even perform exorcisms of the Evil with the holy water from Křtiny font after the memorial was damaged. It was successful and since then the evil man no longer comes to Děravka and does no harm here. I wish that Maheshwarananda’s linden tree at Děravka would live in peace for several hundred years. It has all the prerequisites. It is very strong, full of energy and has a richly spreading treetop. We will not be here anymore, but it will continue to grow and flourish. It is really doing very well at this location in the woods. There is now a large clearing around the linden tree after the forest has been cleared, so it has plenty of light to grow.
